The foundry is structured in way to provide not only cast components, but also a complete set of services, everything from the CAD co-design of parts to the fabrication of aluminum tools for wax injections, non-destructive X-ray inspections, FEA simulations, metallurgical and mechanical characterizations, and dimensional controls.

The casting facility is a very important asset, because it allows us to offer our potential clients the possibility to produce parts from recycled titanium alloy obtained as technological scrap from other production processes.

This opportunity is extremely interesting from a technical point of view and enables the Company to be competitive on the market.

Considering the maximum dimension of the melting unit, the castings must be placed in a cylindrical container that has a base measuring up to 500 mm in diameter and is up to 350 mm high. Raw casting parts can be casted up to 15 kg/pc.

We performed a detailed mechanical and oxidation resistance characterization on different blended alloys, produced by the mixing of materials. At the moment, we can offer our clients 4 different types of blends obtained from recycled materials. More
